In Human Conditions- Detained Immigrants Sleeping on Concrete floor
Footage revealed by a federal judge, reveals a gruesome evidence of the abusive conditions, which the immigrants in the USA are subject to. Some photographs show a mass of cylindrical shapes squashed together in a box and wrapped in something like silver foils. People may at first think them to be something else, but what they basically are, are some human beings who have been detained as illegal immigrants in the USA. These foils are supposed to be their blankets. The immigrants are also subject to inhuman conditions like at least 15 of them being packed into a single cell. They appear to lie on concrete floors, without any mattress being provided to them.
Poor Quality of Food- Forced to live with Hardcore Criminals
After investigating the risk of household food insecurity and poor health among children having immigrant fathers or mothers, it was found that the conditions were really pathetic. Immediate policy interventions are needed which will address food insecurity in immigrant households.
In case they are detained, the food served is really not of the expected standards of quality. Often they are not of the right temperature conditions. These innocent people are often forced to stay with hardcore criminals and are often forced to eat spoiled food. Often, small children are not provided with the nutritious food as they should be getting.
Detained Immigrants in USA- not allowed to meet family members- not even lawyers at times
The detained immigrants have really no means of communicating with their family members. They are often not allowed to meet with the lawyers as well. Often the immigrants are transferred without the knowledge of their doctors or families. Often, families who are just informed about the detention of their relatives, have to keep on waiting in the terminals to meet their loved ones held up in US customs.
Some even have to keep on waiting for several hours. The picture here is really terrible as both the detainees as well as their relatives are eagerly waiting to meet each other, without getting any help from the police.
