Canada Witnesses an Increase in Payroll Employment, Indicating Efforts of Recovery from the Labor Crisis

The recent data from November 2022 shows an increase in the number of payroll employment, demonstrating the positive impact of many policy changes to return to the pre-Pandemic economic scenario. Amidst the labor crisis across Canada, this data brings good news with a decrease in job vacancies.

Since the 1 million job vacancies in May 2022, there has been a decrease of 151,900 jobs by November 2022. In November only, 20,700 positions were filled, indicating a fast recovery from the labor crisis created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
