Which type of UK visa do you need for your next trip?

Work Visa (Tier 1)

Meant for Graduate Entrepreneur, Exceptional Talent, Investor, etc. It also has the following sub types:

• Tier 1 (General) – The general visa is closed to applicants outside of UK.
• Tier 1 (Investor) – Investor Visa is granted to individuals who want to invest in the UK and cater to eligibility requirements.
• Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) – This visa is granted to entrepreneurs who want to set up a business in UK.
• Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur) – This is granted to individuals who are a graduate and have been endorsed as having a good business idea.
• Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent)- An individual can apply for a Tier 1 visa if one has been endorsed in his field in science, humanities, engineering, medicine, digital technology or arts

Work Visa (Tier 2)

Tier 2 Visa is granted to individuals who have been offered a skilled job in the UK and if they are from outside of EEA and Switzerland.

Work Visa (Tier 5)

There are total 6 types of Tier 5 Work Visa granted to individuals under categories – Government Authorized Exchange, Youth Mobility Scheme, Creating Sporting Visas, Charity Worker, Religious Worker and International agreement.
