Tibetan beer, textiles for New Delhi trade fair
Dharamsala — Twelve Tibetan export firms will display native products like beer, mineral water, textiles and daily needs commodities in the 26th Indian International Trade Exposition in New Delhi from Nov 14 to 27.
Tibetan beer is considered to be an excellent beverage, brewed by the Lhasa Beer Co Ltd with the state-of-the-art technology, said Tibetan sources here. Tibet has attended the Indian International Trade Exposition since 2002.
The hill town of Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh is the seat of the Dalai Lama, the Tibetan spiritual leader who fled to India in 1959. New Delhi does not recognize his government-in-exile.
