Canada Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship of Canada, John McCallum stated some imminent changes to attract more foreign students. These Canada immigration changes will help more foreign students to come and stay in Canada.

The new policy is likely to be introduced in the fall, McCallum stated.

Such barriers slow down the things, the immigration minister stated. The new Canada immigration policy will be helpful in promoting immigrants from different corners of the world.

International students best group to become future Canadians—International students are the best group to become future Canadians, the immigration minister stated. That’s because they are educated, have English or French fluency and are young. Moreover, they know something about Canada, he added.

So, Canada wants to make it easier for foreign students to come and stay in Canada. That is already there through Express Entry. Under Express Entry, certain number of points are given to foreign students, McCallum maintained. Canada government shall be giving more points to foreign students to help them stay in Canada easily.

Canada to welcome more Chinese too—Canada will be welcoming more Chinese people including foreign students, temporary visitors and foreign workers(from China). These will be welcomed in Canada.

McCallum also hinted at introduction of a new bio-method system soon. For this, he plans to add five new centers for facilitating this step.
