Marriage-based green card interviews can give you jitters similar to the one you feel while anticipating a surprise. The interviews are conducted either at the U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office if you are applying for adjusting your status in the country or at a U.S. consulate.

• Any unforgettable incident like someone getting drunk or giving an emotional speech

How Is Your Routine?

• Who is the first to get up, when, alarm clock settings, and more?
• Who prepares breakfast, what are the preferences for breakfast-food/tea or coffee?
• Who is the employer of spouse, past employer, current workplace location, name of the boss?
• Earnings of spouse, arrival time at home from work
• Who cleans house, picks up garbage, pays the bill, and feeds pets (if there are any, details about them)?
• What are the medicines that your spouse takes?
• What are the religious functions or services that your spouse attends?
• Do you have a joint account if yes in which back?

They may ask questions related to kids such as their age, name of the school, in which class do they study, who picks and drops them to school, their baby sitter’s name, favorite toys/activities, sports, and so on. Similarly, some questions that are very general but can be very important for the interview include those related to cooking, bedroom, your relatives, close family members, friends, days you love to celebrate- when and where, and more.
