Consequences if after Immigrating on PNP basis, one does not stay for the required number of years

PNP means the Provincial Nominee Program is one of the best pathways to get Canada PR.  When you filled your form for the PR in Canada, you were asked about your interest to reside in different provinces. Alternatively, you may have sent a letter of interest to the province communicating your interest in moving to that province. If it is considered, then you can communicate for having satisfied the provincial nominee program requirements, which will give you additional points.   

PNP in Settling in Canada Permanent Effortlessly 

It is in itself the easiest pathway that doesn’t demand a high score. So, if you have a low score too, you can go ahead with the PNP as they have the power to actualize your dream of settling in Canada Permanent effortlessly. Generally, when you sign the PNP document, you show an intention that you will live in the province. But, in any case, you do not enter that province at all and just use the PNP to enter Canada; it can be misrepresented in later years as the provincial government might claim on you.

What Happens after PNP is accepted?

It is difficult sometimes as you are bound to live in one province all your life. But what you can do at least entering the country into that province and live for one year at least. By living one year, you did show that you are intending to settle in the province. Then you can move even for the simplest of the reasons if the weather is uneasy or you get better job opportunities in another province. At that point, you cannot be blamed and can act smart to get immigration. It is your moral responsibility to stay and work in the province once your PNP is accepted.

Immigrating on PNP basis

There has been a case where a province is nominated by an applicant, but the authority has refused his application citing concerns on his intent to settle in that province. In some cases, care has been taken that the authority will ask for settlement plans to ensure that they are not using PNP as a means to seek in. If you don’t get job offers or if you are offered a job but the offer you are getting is out from the province, paying you a better salary or of higher position, then your move is justified. In such a case, you need to provide the documents for you to move to another province.
