Canada sees Record Vacancies across Food and Accommodation Sectors

Canada has always been an immigrant’s top choice over past few years. With better quality of life and livelihood clubbed with the wider variety of budgets to work around, settling in Canada has always been a chase worthy dream. The world is adjusting with the pandemic and new measures enable gradual opening up of places that had been shut down. Additionally, entrepreneurs and investors are finally gaining guts to open up new places too.

Why the sudden Surge?

However, you must not miss out noting the fact that Canada has lost a large chunk of part-time workers in the food business since students have failed to return to the country even now. This sector saw heavy part-time working participation from the student population. Therefore, recruitment in this industry was never an issue, considering the seasonal hiring surges as well.

• The target for immigrant intake this year has been set at 401,000. Just on paper, each month needs to see filling up with 43000 immigrants starting July, to achieve this target.
