1. Federal style expression of interest system--Named “Together, We Are Quebec”. Quebec immigration reform policy features a federal styled expression of interest system. It is the first reform of immigration system in the last 25 years, admitted Kathleen. Quebec will be adopting its version to be called as a Declaration of Intent.

2. Matching of Immigrants with Regional economic Profiles- In this, immigrants are going to be matched with the regional economic profiles. Quebec immigration system wants to increase economic immigration to nearly 70 percent of its annual quota.

4. Recognition of foreign credentials, training overseas—Majority of Canada provinces, including Quebec, face obstacles in recognition of foreign credentials and training received overseas. 5. Elimination of ‘first-come first-served’ approach–The new Quebec immigration process will be eliminating the ‘first-come first-served’ approach to immigration.
