Kannada actor Prem signs three new films

Chennai — After the stupendous success of “Jothe Jotheyalli”, Kannada actor Prem is fast becoming a favourite hero of the producers.

His “Jothe Jotheyalli” has completed a 100-day run in many centres in the state and the film’s success has been credited to Prem’s increasing appeal, especially among his female audiences.

Prem has signed a new film titled “Gunavantha”. Hamsalekha”, who is producing the film, has written the story, screenplay and lyrics besides scoring the music for it. Iswhar, who made “Badri”, will direct the film.

He has also signed two more projects with producers Ramesh Yadav and Dinesh Babu. Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar will direct the films.

More roles for Ramya

Kannada actress Ramya is reportedly set to start shooting for her third Tamil film “Vaaranam Aayiram” under director Gautham Menon.

Ramya is paired with Surya, who stole the show in blockbuster “Ghajini”, in the film. Her second Tamil film “Thoondil” will be released this month.

She has also signed a new Kannada film titled “Meera Maadhava Raaghava”, to be directed by well-known television serial director T.N. Seetharam.

Mithun Tejaswi and Tilak play important roles in the film, for which Hamsalekha scores the music. Award-winning cinematographer H.M. Ramachandra will wield the camera.
