Mumbai — Indian equity markets were on a roll Monday, riding on robust results posted by corporate houses and pushing a key index to an all-time high on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The 30-share sensitive index (Sensex) of BSE rose by over one percent to an all-time high of 13,031.39 points a little after noon but profit taking by investors pulled it down to slightly under the 13,000-point mark.
The previous peak for the key index was 12,994 points on Oct 17.
