Candidate can only work in the US if after  F-1 visa gets expired they applied for H-1B visa and got a job offer from a US employee. A candidate who comes to the US on study visa wishes to continue working in the US after completing his studies for financial or growth reasons. But with the delay in the processing, the students can’t work in the US until they have H-1B working visa. Companies which hired the students are taking their steps back on it as the visa status of the candidates is still pending. Moreover, if they continue staying in the US on expired study visa they will come under the protocol of Unlawful Presence. Unlawful presence could lead to deportation and the US government can ban the entry of the candidate in the US.

The only and costlier way out for this is to get engaged in other classes to maintain the status of F-1 visa.
