US would extend support to international students if the University is in a scam

International students falling into a trap of any US University will be helped out

Western countries are rolling up their r sleeves to protect and attract international students. The disastrous story of London Metropolitan University has shaken the faith of leading universities amongst student’s fraternity. Hundreds of students are stuck in the row between University and the administration. Though there are orders and task force has been set to transfer these students to other universities as soon a possible. If they don’t get absorbed in any of them within 60 days, then they will face deportation. There are students who are may be a semester away from their degree, there are some who have arrived here only last semester. For all of them it is not on a monetary loss but also a spot on their careers. These students are shattered to know that they have to pay such a big price for their dreams to get fulfilled.

The students are not getting enough strength and courage to enroll in any of the foreign universities in spite of having big dreams of earning a degree from one such place.

Some countries have suffered as setback due to racial attacks and some are suffering from disorganized curriculum and easy methods of earning a degree to lure students.

Looking at all this, USA is getting geared up to leave no stone unturned for the protection of overseas students coming to any of their universities.

Julia Stanley, Minister Counselor for Consular affairs at the US Embassy in Delhi says, “Genuine overseas students who are in the US and enrolled with these institutions find themselves in great trouble when the authorities crack down on them. In America, long term steps are being taken to address the problems faced by the genuine students to help them relocate to other institutions.”

According to a report, a series of universities have been cracked down in one year’s time. Under the crackdown Tri Valley University in California affecting thousands of students. More than 400 students were transferred to other institutions.

Ms Stanley also said, “The US embassy in India is also looking into the issue of student visa fraud.”
Countries like US understand the importance of international students coming to them. There is a huge contribution made by them to the economy of these nations.
