Food Provided to Immigration Detainees does not match Legally Stipulated Standards
The ICE jails run on the basis of their self-made standards in terms of the food provided along with the state of living conditions as well. There is no parity with the methods or protocols of the US Department of Agriculture or any other similar statutory body and therefore, the systems remain unchecked and still continuing in the same manner. Of late, documents related to a request under Freedom of Information Act disclosed that hardly any such facility has been stopped.
