You Must Submit a Complete Electronic Application after Receiving ITA Under Express Entry

One of the popular immigration pathways to enter and settle in Canada with a permanent residency status is Express Entry. IRCC organizes Express Entry draws according to their immigration schedule, where they issue invitations to apply (ITAs) to eligible candidates who satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria, such as the CRS score and the language requirements. However, it is crucial to complete the application when it comes to applying for the PR status through the online mode after one gets ITA.

After receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Permanent Residency through the Express Entry system, it’s important to submit your application as soon as possible. To begin, you will need to create an online account with the Canadian government need to provide supporting documents, such as educational transcripts, language test results, work experience letters, and police certificates. It’s important to ensure that all documents are accurate and up-to-date, as any discrepancies could lead to delays or rejection of your application.

Currently, Express Entry includes three significant programs, which are the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), the Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP). The goal of IRCC is to welcome 305,900 immigrants into the country by 2025. If you fail to submit a complete application after receiving ITA, your documents will be returned, after which you will have to start the whole Expree Entry process again. In this case, you will have to reenter the Express Entry pool and wait for an ITA.

To ensure your file is not returned, take note of all the required documents you must submit. If you are aware of any document missing which can be justified, you must submit another document stating the reasons for the same. However, it does not guarantee a successful acceptance of your file by IRCC. Moreover, you should know that any verifying document, such as seals or stamps not in English or French, must be translated to be eligible. Other crucial documents that must be included in the application are police certificates, proof of work experience, and medical examination confirmations.
