Create an OUAC Account- The first step involves creating an OUAC Account at the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) website.

Enter Necessary Details- Once you click on “Create an OUAC Account”, you will be directed to a page where you will have to enter some necessary details like your name, date of birth and email address. After entering the details, you will have to choose a password for your account, and finally, you will get your username and password for applying for a graduate course.

Login to OUAC Account- Once your OUAC account is created, you will have to log in to the account and enter all the necessary details in the application form.

Payment of Application Fee- After filling all the details in your application, you will be required to pay a non-refundable application fee ($100 for maximum programs) while submitting your application.

Upload Documents- Once your application is submitted and transferred to Ottawa’s servers, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access uoZone. After receiving the email, you will have to log in to uoZone and upload all your admission documents. All the documents should be in any of the following formats- pdf, .doc, .docx, .jpeg, .jpg, .txt. However, it is recommended to upload the documents in pdf format.

A student should hold an honours bachelor’s degree (4 years) with an average of 70%, or B (calculated using your last 20 courses).

For a Doctoral program, a student should hold a master’s degree with an average of 75%, or B+ (calculated using your last ten courses).

You can submit proof of any one test. For the French language, the university accepts DELF, DALF, TESTCan scores.
