Additional Points for French Communication skills in Express Entry Immigration to Canada
As per new changes imbibed by IRCC (Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada), extra Comprehensive Ranking System points will be allotted to the applicants who can prove their skills in both English and French languages.
As per the changes in Express Entry to Canada:
- Additional 30 points will be awarded to the applicant who will prove satisfactory or excellent proficiency in the French Language along with English ability of CLB 5 or better
- Additional 15 points will be awarded to the applicant who will prove satisfactory or excellent proficiency in the French Language along with English ability of CLB 4 or lower
- All the aspiring applicants have to undertake a standardized language test recognized by IRCC called Test d’ Evaluation de Francais (TEF) to obtain those desired CSR points
Additional points for siblings in Express Entry Immigration to Canada
From June 6 onwards applicants who have their sibling residing in Canada as Permanent Resident of 18 years or above of age, will be awarded 15 additional CRS points. The said points can also be obtained if the spouse of the applicant has their sibling’s residing in Canada.
The applicant or the spouse’s and the sibling must have common mother/father. The declaration can be done via blood, adoption, marriage or common-law partner.
