Temporary Activity Visas help in filling the gap between business visit visas where foreigners are limited to business activities only and the Subclass 457 visa. Temporary Activity Visas help foreigners engage in traditional work activity in Australia. This is for a maximum period of up to six months.

- Temporary Work(Entertainment)(Subclass 420)
- Superyacht Crew (subclass 488).
So, the above stated six Australia visa subclasses shall get incorporated into following new and changed temporary activity visa categories—
- Temporary Work (Short Stay Specialist) (Subclass 400)
- Temporary Work (International Relations) (Subclass 403)
- Training (Subclass 407)
- Temporary Activity (Subclass 408)
