Working while on Australia student visas—Australia student visa holders can work in Australia for funding their study and their stay in Australia. Apart from funding their stay and study in Australia, working in Australia also helps in providing foreign students the much needed Australia work experience.
Generally, holders of Australia student visas can work for a maximum period of 40 hours every two weeks during their course session. However, during their course break, they can work in Australia for an unrestricted number of hours.
The only thing to be kept in mind by any foreign student on Australia student visa is that he or she must check visa to see if they are allowed to take up any paid work in Australia or not.
