Priority to UK residents for UK jobs--In addition, the UK Home Office will be looking into such UK visa applications including UK Tier 2 skilled worker visa applications for making sure that the UK residents do get the first opportunity for doing UK jobs rather than allowing migrants to come and work in the UK on a priority.

The UK has toughened its immigration rules by putting applications of skilled migrant workers under tightened scrutiny for knowing the exact details about their income, job descriptions etc.

Indian skilled migrants will need to be aware that the top priority of the UK government now is to make sure that UK people get an edge over the migrants when the issue of UK jobs comes.

Nonetheless, it needs to be worth mentioned that nearly 19 billion pounds is generated by nearly 41 Indian-owned firms in the UK economy as revenue. And such firms cover various sectors including technology, automotive, manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceuticals etc.
