Zhejiang Province:-At least 16 people were killed and three others missing in Zhejiang Province after Khanun, the strongest typhoon of the year triggered flash floods in the province, affecting lives of over five million people, the local government said.
A flood triggered by Khanun has killed seven people and left two others missing in Ningbo, a city in east China's Zhejiang Province, the local government said.
The flood occurred around noon in Qinglin village, Beilun District of Ningbo, the government said, adding that 20 houses were also destroyed in the deluge.

An earlier report said nine people were confirmed dead and another missing in the province in other flooding incidents in the province.
The total economic losses caused by the typhoon, the 15th to hit eastern China this year, was estimated at 849 million US dollars, said officials of the provincial flood control and drought relief headquarters.
