New Delhi--Former Prime Minister Atal Bihar Vajpayee has again clarified that there is a good relationship with RSS, and RSS is not interferring with the working of BJP.
Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today said there is no interference of RSS in affairs of the BJP and expressed hope that the two organisations will resolve the issues among themselves.
Answering queries of newspersons about the lingering problem between RSS and BJP, Vajpayee said there was no interference of Sangh. "Don't worry we will resolve the issue".
Vajpayee's statement is quite a contrast with the BJP President L K Advani who has said RSS interference in BJP affairs was not in the interest of both organisations while announcing his decision to demit his party post during party's National Council meeting at Mumbai in December.
Vajpayee, however, declined to react to the letter of former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti to RSS Chief K S Sudarshan alleging that RSS functionary Sushil Soni was preventing her from becoming Chief Minister again. "I have not seen her letter and therefore there is no comment from me on this," he said.
