Dr. Ali S. Dearborn, Michigan, was accused on Friday for his involvement in Medicare and immigration fraud.

He used to help illegal aliens, who cannot even speak English, to get US citizenship by lying about their mental and other medical conditions.

The fact that Makki was allowed to easily get himself engaged in medical services for aliens is a result of the ineffectiveness of the federal immigration authorities, particularly US citizenship and immigration services (USCIS). According to sources, Makki is directly linked and maybe related to the infamous Makki family members that have been involved in smuggling and selling of cigarettes and other goods on the black market. In 1999, Makki’s medical license was put on a trial period suspecting of mail fraud. The above mentioned facts should have been clues for the government, but it seems that no one was interested. And another astonishing fact is that despite being involved in mail fraud and connection with Hezbollah, Makki is still a USCIS approved doctor and his name is also recommended on the immigration lawyers’ website. No clue why?

The 39-count comment says that Makki, 46, billed taxpayer-funded Medicare for seeing patients that never were. Some of the billings indicate the period when he was away on a Carnival Cruise. Along with all these, he also used to order unnecessary tests and sell painkiller prescriptions to those who were not patients. It is believed that between May 2003 and July 2004, Makki $150 each from more than 500 alien patients, that amounted to almost $76,000. He took all this money to complete their medical form for green card applications. Makki also used to charge aliens almost $300-$400 for fraudulently certifying them on a separate INS form for patients that are mentally disabled. This prevented them from taking English and civics tests that are must for acquiring citizenship for normal people.

The case was with the US District Court for eastern district of Michigan Magistrate Mona Majzoub. She was picked for the case because she is the nation’s first muslim federal magistrate. But no good was to be done by her. Although Makki already fled from the country once, yet she agreed with Makki’s lawyer at a Friday hearing that Makki need not be detained as he was not a flight risk.

What crap, after all this, who will believe that he is not a flight risk? No wonder why we laugh at the Islamic world.
