Most immigrants to UK, even if they are able to get decent job and make good money. This is because of hostile attitude of local Britons are convinced that new immigrants, especially from east are diluting their culture and leading to the breakdown of society.

This is despite the fact that they acknowledge that the country is facing population Crisis. Most Britons are upset over “special privileges” extended to immigrants to settle. As per survey conducted by Channel 4, vast majority of 84% wanted a drastic cut in immigration while 15% wanted it to be abolished altogether.
Majority of the people interviewed were against immigration as they believed immigration cuts their jobs and new immigrants tend to work on low wages, thus reducing their wage levels.Some also felt that it destroys their cultural fabric.
Tory immigration spokesman, Damian Green, has been most vocal of the opponents of the immigration as advocating that rate of immigration should be substantially lower or else the nation would be heading for disaster. He is convinced that vast majority of local Britons share his views and that “The Government cannot remain in denial much longer."
What has been most disturbing aspect of the study is that 39% of the Britons feel that immigration has created “No Go” areas around their homes and 30% confess that they have never interacted with eastern minorities over social gatherings. This would lead to creation of islands, which may have dangerous ramifications at some stage, may be, if not now, few decades later.
Only 25 per cent of those polled said immigration had led to a rich and varied culture in Britain - compared with 58 per cent who said it had not.
More than 60% of the immigrants feel that UK can never be their permanent home and there are looking for moving to USA or Canada at some stage, where this sort of ostensible discrimination won’t be there.
