London -- British actress Sienna Miller refused to go on a drastic diet for the movie "Factory Girl" because she felt she needed the energy to deal with the demanding shooting schedule.

According to contactmusic.com, Miller plays Edie Sedgwick, who was the muse of the famous artist Andy Warhol. Filmmakers wanted her to lose some weight so that she could look more like her character.

But she says: "Edie was skinnier than I was so (director George Hickenlooper) wanted me to lose weight. But I can't work that hard and not eat. He'd come and try to snatch bagels out of my hands!"
