New York -- Actress Lindsay Lohan might take a break from acting because she wants to travel and blend with the locals.

According to newsweek.com, Lohan says she might take a year or so off. Lohan, in more recent times, has become a sought after celebrity for photographers but she also complained about the immense pressures of fame.

She has also been criticised by some of her co-stars and bosses for her on-set behaviour.

She says: "I might take a vacation - take a year off, I want to travel and learn more about other cultures. The more I've grown up, the more I want to do that."
