Expect the best and get the best
If you want to get the best, you will have to expect for the best. But if you expect the worst, you will get the worst. This is the power of believing.
If you want the best, then change your mental habits to belief instead of disbelief. Learn to expect, not to doubt. By doing so, you will bring everything in line with possibility. This doesn’t mean that you will get everything you wish or everything you think of. But this definitely means that once you start believing, all impossible things will start moving into the region of possible.
William James, the famous psychologist, said: “Our belief at the beginning of a doubtful undertaking is the one thing that insures the successful outcome of your venture”. Therefore, in any undertaking, belief is of primary importance. It is the basic factor in succeeding. A magnetic force is released in your mind, which, by the law of attraction, tends to bring the best to you if you expect the best. But if you expect the worst, then by the law of repulsion, the magnetic force released by the mind takes the best away from you.
Perhaps, you may not be doing well in the game of life. Maybe, you wanted something but didn’t get it. Well, let me give you a suggestion and I hope it works well for you. In future, never say, “Maybe” or “I will try”. Always say “I will” or “I can”. This will turn you into a believer, into an expector, and when you become such, in due course, you will become an achiever. You will have a new power in deciding and getting what you really want.
When you start expecting the best and not the worst, you free yourself from self doubt. By doing so, you can put your whole self in an effort and a man who puts his whole self in a problem, can never be defeated.
