4 cups finely chopped mushrooms
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
1/4 cup boiled peas
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons plain flour
1/2 cup cream
1 egg, beaten
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons chopped onion
1/8 teaspoon pepper powder
1 tablespoon lemon juice
10-12 bread slices
Salt as per taste
1. Saute chopped mushrooms in butter for 2-3 minutes.
2. Add onion, and saute for 3 minutes. Let it cool.
3. Add flour, salt, pepper, garlic, cream. Blend it well. Cook the mixture till it thickens.
4. Add peas, celery, lemon juice. Stir for 2-3 minutes. Let the mixture cool.
5. Flatten the bread slices with rolling pins.
6. Spread the mushroom mixture over the slices (in the center).
7. Roll up the bread covering the mixture.
8. Refrigerate the rolls for two hours.
9. After two hours, cut the rolls into halves. Put butter over the rolls.
10. Place it in greased baking dish. Bake at 400 degree C for 25-20 minutes till golden brown.
11. Place it in a plate and garnish with shredded carrots and cheese.
