New Delhi -- A couple who cheated on their spouses to make love committed suicide here after their extra-marital affair came under attack from family members, police said Sunday.
The bodies of Sandhya, 25, and Prem, 35, were found in Jehangirpuri area in northwest Delhi. Police said the two had been missing for eight days.
"It seems they have consumed chemicals to kill themselves," said an official.
Prem and Sandhya met a few months ago when the former shifted to Sandhya's neighbourhood.
Eventually, as their affair became known, the couple took refuge in the house of Prem's brother-in-law but committed suicide.
