Sidhu files bail bond in Chandigarh

Chandigarh -- Former MP Navjot Singh Sidhu filed a bail bond in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate here Thursday.

Sidhu was last week convicted of culpable homicide not amounting to murder for causing the death of Gurnam Singh in Patiala town in a road rage case in 1988. The Punjab and Haryana High Court Wednesday gave a suspended sentence of three years in prison to Sidhu.
