Immigration has more ill-effects than one

In developed nations, there are plenty of jobs when times are good. This very fact attracts immigrants from all across the world. But the moment recession takes its stand, the job market automatically tightens, though the movement of migrants is still there, but in this case, it is just the other way round i.e. immigrants return back to their homes. The main reason for leaving of immigrants is that either they feel better being unemployed at home or they find better opportunities at home as is the case with Indian and Chinese workers.
There are times when many people are not comfortable with the flow of goods, like when the steel companies of the US try to convince the government to impose restrictions on the import of steel from other countries. Similarly, at times, even flow of capitals causes problems. But these problems are nothing in comparison to the problem that is created by the movement of labor and it is countries like the US, UK, and other developed nations who are at the receiving end. Basically, this gives rise to three problems for the nations who receive immigrants. The first is the fact that among these immigrants there are many terrorists who come with the sole purpose of creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Secondly, residents of the country see these immigrants as competitors for their jobs, which also give opportunity to politicians to make use of sentiments of innocent people by promising ‘British jobs to Britishers’. And finally, the native population starts thinking that its great culture is in danger.
