Healthcare scheme good for illegal immigrants, not Americans

Until last week, much of the debate in public was surrounded by the healthcare plan of the Democrats’ which has focused on huge costs to be paid by the taxpayers of America. But another flaw has just become too hot and that is the National Council of La Raza and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus’s push to take in illegal immigrants in the healthcare effort of the president.

In spite of statements against this, the Obama administration might well force the people of America to become the monetary source for healthcare of millions of illegal immigrants residing in the United States. The bill of the Democrats in the House consists of wide open loop holes that would provide illegal immigrants the luxury to enjoy the tax-funded benefits in America.

There is no verification mechanism in the legislation to make sure that illegal immigrants do not seek benefits. Though the Republicans put forward an amendment to close the loophole, it was rejected by the House Democrats after they were asked to place the language of the bill and their words together.

As per the bill, it may be possible that if one member of a family is citizen of the country is eligible for benefits, then the whole family, which may contain illegal immigrants as well, can also avail the benefits.

Maybe the Americans are not that concerned right now regarding the excessive cost of this healthcare proposal, but this benefit for the illegals from taxpayers fund would definitely awake them.
