Kenney has reflected his favour for migrants to Canada.

The immigration minister of Canada, Jason Kenny held a meeting with provincial, federal and territorial departments to determine the immigration level in tune with the economic situation.
He has reflected favour for migration and has conveyed to migrants that they should apply before March.
Although Kenney has assured favour to immigration, but he has also harped the point that the immigration system of Canada must be in tune with the economy. Kenney has given notification that the prospective migrants must submit their Canada visa application as soon as possible as the immigration contract owing to the demand of the economy.
The minister has given his consent to the Canada Immigration and Citizenship for approval for 240,000 to 265,000 new permanent residents as a target for this year to keep up with the growth of the economy and fill up the gap of the skills.
Minister Kenney has showed his concern regarding the immigrants that they would take care that the immigrants do not face unemployment. He has given assurance that if the change in the labour market demands modification, they would welcome modifications.
Kenney has reflected his opinion that the immigration has a significant role to play in the growth of the economy and so it must not be avoided due to prevalent situation.
