Indian workers deceived on the ground of fake promises about job in US.

The Indian workers who reached Mississippi in the fall of 2006 were a deceived lot. They were promised to get permanent US residency, but turned out to be the fact was that they were hired as temporary guest workers with 10-month H2B visas.

Signal International officials assured that they were no way indulged in deceiving the foreign workers. It came as a shock to them that the recruiters have been hiring workers on such hollow promises. Upon the complain of the workers about the poor standard of living provided to them, Signal remarked that living arrangements are good and designed as per the need of South Asian immigrant workers. Signal also made a sad remark of being betrayed by the recruiters and by the workers for making fake allegations.

Deceived workers have been trying to reach lawyers who might assist them in right direction in getting justice. As per the opinion of labor and political groups who are willing to help Indians, the case cites a perfect example of human-trafficking. People show great faith in US system and justice, and relies upon it to get a favorable justice. US Congress has passed laws in order to protect these victims. The immigrant workers have suffered immensely on emotional as well as professional front and are longing for justice to be made in their favour.
