Now Canada may get prepared to welcome more foreign investors to the country who plan to relocate, as the country’s banking system has been ranked the best in the world by the World Economic Forum.
The South Asia Mail stated that Canada’s Immigrant Investor Program, which grants permission to wealthy immigrants to stay in the country on visa provided they invest in the Canadian economy by initiating their own business etc, will become an even more lucrative option for immigrants from Asia after this positive news will circulate round their ears. Canada was also given top marks by the forum for the easy way in which overseas people can start their business in the country.
If an investor plans to move to Canada on the Immigrant Investor Program, then he or she will have access to many advantages which includes a tax holiday for five years for new permanent residents.
Wealthy businessmen who are willing to take full advantage of this Canadian Business Immigration category can get their visa to Canada either through the Quebec Investor Program or the Federal Investor Program. For both the programs mentioned above, applicants must show a net worth of CA$800,000 and also make a CA$400,000 government guaranteed investment. After seven years, the amount of CA$400,000 will be given back to the applicants without any interest on the same.
Therefore, with the news of Canadian banking system rated as soundest in the world, many foreign investors who were earlier thinking over move to Canada might well go ahead with it.
