A new networking website has been launched by Canadian immigration for all those people who are planning to move to Canada or who have just received their Canadian visas.
The website named loonlounge.com allows people to share experiences and make plans prior to their settlement in Canada. Potential immigrants can join the loonlounge.com communities in their home countries and they can also add details about themselves like where are they planning to move to in Canada and regarding their Canadian visa office.
Following this initial stage, the website allows users to freely upload pictures, network with others in their area, or in the area in which they plan to move to in Canada, and contribute to the forums and blogs to share their experiences and exchange tips regarding Canada.
Canadian immigration is hoping that the site will help in showing that no one is alone when they move to work in Canada or when they plan their settlement in Canada. There is also a large community of immigrants to help, and loonlounge.com is a fitting way to do that.
This website of the Citizenship and Immigration Canada hopes that the networking facility will make the process of settlement of newcomers easy and may even help the existing population to make new and more friends, and make contacts within the immigration population. The website states that the immigration is fundamental to the future of Canada and that this is your invitation to become involved.
