Hilton remembers embarrassing date

London -- Socialite heiress Paris Hilton was once embarrassed on a date when she pretended to talk on the phone to avoid him, but then her cell actually began to ring.

Hilton realised that the date was not going well and pretended to answer a call from her mother in order to escape.

"I was out with this guy and after five minutes I knew he was totally not my type. So, I pretended my mum was on the phone and I needed to go home urgently.

"But while I was pretending to be on the phone to her, it started ringing. So, he knew I wasn't really speaking to," pagesix.com quoted her as saying.
