Go get the Wine Facial for sparkling glow

Since the women in India got beauty conscious, many advices such as healthy diet, good sleep and exercise came into their way for retaining the glowing skin. For this purpose many beauty saloons offered different kinds of face massages(Facials) ranging from normal to golden.

Besides silver golden and very recently came into trend gem stone facials, Wine facial is becoming the latest craze amongst women in Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan.

In India women consistently have a disapproving attitude towards liquor, but now, wine is being used for facials in Jaipur beauty saloons.

As per the beliefs of Jaipur women, wine facials provide an instant glow to their skin and relieve them of tensions and headaches. "This facial is very good. No doubt, it brings a glow on the skin, but it also relaxes a person and works as a headache reliever," said Rekha, a customer.

"After the facial, I felt very relaxed, and it is only with this facial, that I get the maximum glow on the skin," said another customer, Nisha.

And, according to Jasvinder, a beautician by profession, wine is a herbal product having different properties. "It relaxes a person because it has got ample properties in it which is not present in other normal products. So, mix it with Aloe Vera Gel and penetrates in the skin, as a result, it provides glow to the skin in just five minutes. Out of 15 facials, we do 10 wine facials on regular basis," said the beautician.

She stated that different wines are applied on different skin textures.

However, many beauty saloons in Jaipur are offering facials that use bhasm (ash) of stones like rubies, emeralds, pearls, diamonds, topaz and so on, but wine facials are more and more in demand.

Adding to the significance of the wine for facial, Aroma therapist Hitendra asserts wine contains a spirit which helps in removing dead cells on a face. "Wine is something which penetrates into skin. It has got therapeutic value. So, we use only those wines which are made especially for the skin and contain a low level of spirit," said Hitendra.

The price range of wine facials varies from Rs. 250 to Rs. 1500 and for gems facial cost ranges between Rs. 350 and Rs. 2,500.
