Dillon slams Bush administration

London -- Actor Matt Dillon has slammed US President George W. Bush and his administration and crticised the leader's policies.

According to contactmusic.com, Dillon says that Bush's policies deny everything that the US stands for. Dillon believes that Bush's administration does not remember that the country was built by immigrants and is shocked that the US plans to build a fence along the US-Mexico border to check illegal immigration.

He says: "If we deny other people coming to our country then we're denying everything that America stands for. I feel that way especially with our neighbours in Mexico.

"It's complicated. I don't have a solution and I don't pretend to have one. We've gone backward in many respects."
