Congress wins Chamundeshwari seat

Bangalore -- The Congress Thursday won the Chamundeshwari assembly seat in Karnataka, defeating a joint candidate of the ruling Janata Dal-Secular and Bharatiya Janata Party.

The winner, Siddaramaiah, quit the JD-S and has represented Chamundeshwari four times.
