These temporary residents can now more easily attain permanent residency and finally become Canadian citizens.
Canadian immigration attorney David Cohen said that immigrants should thank the new Canadian Experience Class, as now, after they arrive here as temporary foreign worker or an international student, they can stay here for good and without interruptions.
Immigrants are benefited under the new Canadian Experience Class, as they will no longer be required to leave the country in order to apply for permanent residency. They can carry on their work in Canada while their Canadian Experience Class application is processed at the Canadian Visa Office in Buffalo, New York.
Cohen said that the applicants are have been educated and trained in Canada, they also have valuable work experience, so Canada wants to keep them, which in turn would benefit the Canadian economy. He added that the immigration process should not interrupt their lives and therefore, the Canadian Experience Class is a welcome solution.
In order to apply, applicants must satisfy the minimum requirements for Canadian work experience or Canadian education and they also need to have basic or moderate abilities in English or French, depending upon their occupation.
