In order to encourage students from foreign nations and recent graduates to travel and work in Canada, the Canadian High Commission has relaxed the open work authorization visa’s regulations, which is available for international students on the post-graduate work permit.
The Canadian visa permits working holidays to be taken by students for a period of up to twelve months and can now be taken many times during the study period of students, for up to one year after they complete their graduation.
The rule is similar to the Youth Mobility Scheme in the UK and allows students and recent graduates in Canada, aged 18 to 30 years, to take long working summers in Canada.
Graduates also have the liberty to take a gap year in the country, even if they have already availed the facility of a work visa during their studies. Still better is the fact that this liberty is not restricted to any specific region or industry.
International students can now apply for the Canadian visa through the post-graduate work permit program, according to which causal work is quite easy to find in Canada and also states that even study-related work can be found with a little more perseverance.
The director if globalvisas.com, Liam Clifford said that after the Christmas break, there has been an evident increase in the number of students expressing their interest to come to Canada. He said that the government of Canada has come up with an idea which is currently proving to be extremely popular in the university circuit.
