Bangalore -- Colorado-based Jeppesen Inc, a subsidiary of Boeing Commercial Aviation Services, has entered into a tie-up with an Indian company in the area of international trip planning services.
The tie-up with the Bangalore-based Commercial and Business Aviation Services (CBAS) will offer pilots and travellers the best possible solutions in flight planning, weather forecasts and other services associated with overseas travel, company officials said.
The solutions include landing permits, customs and immigration coordination, route planning advice, over-flight permits, flight plans and air-traffic control plan filing, officials said on the margins of the Aero India show here.
"We are combining the best of both companies, including Jeppeson's long-standing record in international trip planning, with this new partnership," said A.M. Ganapathy, CBAS managing director.
"The Indian operation will have the full backing and of experience of Jeppeson," said the company's senior manager for international trip planning, adding that the group has its presence in several locations, including the US, Europe and the Middle East.
