The backstage antics at this year's MTV Video Music Awards were more entertaining than the lacklustre action on stage, say critics.
According to pagesix.com, some of the events included a hassled Jared Leto, who acts as John Lennon's killer in an upcoming movie, being asked by a journalist to sing his favourite Beatles song to which Leto asked which country he was from. When the journalist replied Amsterdam, Leto snapped: "Don't embarrass your country!"
After receiving the award for best pop video Pink said: "Nick Lachey and Nicole Richie giving me the award was ironic. I can appreciate the irony."
Further, Axl Rose again promised that his much-awaited album "Chinese Democracy", which he has been working for the past 12 years, would be released by the end of the year.
