Mohali -- Cricket world champions Australia will clash with New Zealand in the first semi-finals of the ICC Champions Trophy to be played at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) stadium here Wednesday.
Australia beat India by six wickets here to book a place in the semi-finals. India are out of the tournament.
Australian captain Ricky Ponting said his side was all prepared for the semi-final and would do their best to win it.
The Champions Trophy is the only title that has eluded the Australians so far.
"It's a good wicket here and I reckon that the New Zealanders would know as much about the conditions here as we do," Ponting said.
New Zealand reached the semi-finals after defeating Pakistan.
West Indies and South Africa will play the other semi-final at Jaipur.
