The Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, Jason Kenney has said that the government would be whole-heartedly promoting immigration programs and would help newcomers to be comfortable in the new environment.
Minister Kenney said in the Canadian Club of Winnipeg that immigration has been an integral part of Canada and its role has bees conspicuous in history and would be hold a significant position in future as well. He said that the position of Canada is very respectable for the way Canada manages to incoming of people from all parts of the world. Canada has always been open-minded and tolerable and has accepted diversity that reflects their favour for immigrants.
Minister Kenney reflected his interest in the continuance of his service in the Canada Citizenship Immigration and Multiculturalism. He said that the Canada would always help in reuniting the families, providing shelter to refugees and thereby strengthening the economy of Canada.
The minister also brought the recent important developments and improvements related to immigration programs. Some important improvements are formation of Foreign Credentials Referral Office, Five-year plan ($1.4 billion) for the improvement of condition of settlement all over Canada and opening of the Canadian Experience Class. All these improvements reflect the positive attitude of Canada for the immigrants.
