Bhopal -- In an angry outburst against Madhya Pradesh's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government, Uma Bharati Thursday returned her 'Z plus' security, saying she felt "more insecure" with the personnel as the state chief minister "has hatched a conspiracy to kill me".
The president of the newly-floated Bharatiya Jan Shakti Party (BJSP) said: "Given the present state of affairs, I feel more insecure with the security personnel since they belong to the Madhya Pradesh government whose chief has hatched a conspiracy to kill me."
Citing the alleged attacks on her helicopter at Jaitpur during canvassing for the Bada Malehra assembly constituency by-poll and later on her motorcade at Shahrora village in Chhatarpur district on Oct 30 that forced her to run for cover in a temple, Bharati said that the security personnel were of no use to her because they had to wait for orders from the government on every occasion.
A statement issued by the BJSP Madhya Pradesh unit stated: "She will leave for Bhagalpur Thursday evening without any security personnel."
Meanwhile, Bharati has also announced to court arrest in protest against the incidents. BJSP General Secretary Prahald Patel, state president Raghunandan Sharma and other party leaders would also court arrest.
"We have decided to court arrest because false cases are being registered against us on the instance of the ruling BJP," Patel told IANS on phone.
