The search giant Google has a new trouble standing its way in China. The launch of Google.cn already been traumatized for working against the company ‘ so called motto of ‘don’t be evil’ and kneeling in front of Chinese authorities now is being convicted for not obtaining the ICP (Internet content provider) license needed to operate Internet content services in China by a leading Beijing newspaper.
As stated by the newspaper the Ministry of Information Industry, regulating China's Internet, was "concerned" and investigating the problem. Criticizing the company China Business Times said” Under China's policy framework for the Internet, Google.cn is clearly unlawful,". Meanwhile the company authorities defending their side said that it shares an ICP license with another, local company, Ganji.com ;a practice followed by other internet companies like Yahoo Inc. and EBay Inc to and has refused of being contacted by Ministry of Information Industry for any license problems
