20 die in Pakistan bus accident

Islamabad -- At least 20 people were killed Friday when a passenger bus plunged into a ravine in north Pakistan's Kohistan district.

The accident occurred at 2.30 a.m. in Keru area when the bus fell into a deep gorge near Indus river, Geo TV reported quoting police sources.

Three of the four people injured in the accident were said to be in critical condition. The cause of the accident is not known.
