Plot: naughty exchanges places with a crazy nerd in college but principal does find something wrong and mysterious
The nerdy person Rajan (Tushar Kapoor) and the funky and notorious Raju (Emraan Hashmi), do not have anything in similar except a college and surname (Malhotra) which leads to immense confusion and comedy that backfires. The inefficient and sleepy peon tangles up their identities and creates confusion for the principal of principles (Paresh Rawal) who smells a rat. They get mixed up with divisions as the principal wants children separated on the basis of aptitudes for academics. Another confusion, is that the notorious Raju wants to be close to the intelligent Rashmi (Isha Sharwani) and the hot Dinky (Tanushree Dutta) wants to be close to Rajan.
Rajan’s parents unlike him want him to be a dude enjoying life, whereas Raju’s parents unlike him want him to settle well in life.
Although the theme is good, still the script has not filled in the humor it could have had. The audience was not happy with the writer and director as they felt he was quite at lease, with an attempt to make the audience laugh (it wasn’t possible, though). Finally, at the end of the movie, the film, comes out to be super boring, as one could not really understand the message that they wanted to give.
Himesh Reshammiya’s music was not suitable for the film. Box office, was happy with Tusshar and Emraan Hasmi were alright, whereas, others needed to improve in one way or the other.
